🐾 Puppy Psychology & Boundaries
Our first session focused on helping Lucy’s family understand how puppies think. We established gentle boundaries so she understood her role within the family from day one. Lucy gave it her all for 90 minutes before dozing off—proof of the mental work required for early learning.
We prioritized Pillar #1 (Diet) and established a successful toilet training routine based on taking pride in a clean home.
🦮 Outdoor Focus & Recall
Living near one of Ottawa’s busy parks made outdoor focus a key goal. We introduced Recall Training to help Lucy enjoy freedom while staying attentive to her owners.
Through structure and consistency, she grew into a balanced, confident pup—playful but focused.
🐕 Calm Meet-and-Greets
We guided the family through calm meet-and-greet routines with other dogs. Socialization became a part of daily life, with Lucy practicing greeting new people calmly by waiting and watching in a Green Zone state.
